She  wanted  him  to  know  her  family  and
                                                              friends in the United States. They arrived on

                                                              campus during a freezing blizzard and much
                                                              to  her  surprise,  he  thoroughly  enjoyed  the
                                                              weather. When others were huddled inside the
                                                              warmth and protection of their homes, Prinya
                                                              could  be  seen  walking  the  slippery  streets

          bareheaded, oblivious to the wind and snow!  If he got too cold he simply got into a car parked
          along the sidewalk to warm up a bit before traveling on.


             Prinya was asked to head the Thai students group and together they represented Thailand
          at  an  international  campus  festival.  They  invited  Paul  Sithi-Amnuey,  a  well-known  Thai
          economist with the Bangkok Bank in New York City, to address those who had gathered for
          the festival.  That was the year Khun Apahsara Hongsakula was crowned Miss Universe in

          Toronto, and Prinya and Rose Marie were there to congratulate her.
