Around and about Ban Amorn Village
In 1978 Prinya was assigned to organize an international savings bank conference in
Bangkok to take place in 1981. For three years he worked tirelessly on this task. The day before
the delegates arrived, while concluding final arrangements with the translators, he suffered a
cerebral hemorrhage and was rushed to Paolo Hospital at Span Kwai. He had accomplished
his mission but at a heart-wrenching price. He recovered sufficiently to return to work after
many months of rehabilitation.
